Technical assistance from ACQ Residential technologists
You will benefit from the technical expertise of ACQ Residential’s building technologists for a period of up to 24 months from the transaction date. Unlimited telephone access at no charge.
On-site visits by a technologist are also possible.*
 
Renovation Quality guarantee
Renovation Quality guarantee is an assistance and protection program for your renovation work. Thanks to this protection issued by ACQ Residential, you'll be assisted in your choice of contractor. And for your peace of mind, your down payments will be secured, giving you financial protection in the event of defects, as well as a completion guarantee.
As soon as you sign up for the Certification Program, and for the 24 months following the signing of the deed of sale, you'll enjoy the certainty of dealing with a contractor you can trust, as well as technical support, full protection in the event of poor or incomplete work, and support in the event of a claim.

Conciliation service in the event of discovery of hidden defects
In the event of the discovery of hidden defects affecting a building, the service offers the parties conciliation by an ACQ Residential technologist trained in this field.**
Upon receipt of a written complaint from the BUYER, the conciliation technologist brings the parties to the property together to verify the disputed elements in their presence. On the basis of his findings and experience, the technologist conducts a conciliation session to bring the parties to an amicable settlement, which he records in writing. The out-of-court settlement rate exceeds 90% *** and spares the parties the stress and expense of going to court.

Eligible Building Types 
The program applies to residential, commercial, and multi-unit buildings, regardless of the number of units.

Exclusions
This program does not apply to 1) a property covered by another warranty plan, including the New Residential Building Warranty Plan (GCR), 2) the land, 3) a mobile home, 4) a property not permanently fixed. Technologists employed by ACQ Residential work in the field of building and the built environment. Issues such as soil quality, environmental concerns, drains, water supply systems, and sanitary systems, among others, are beyond their scope of knowledge, limiting the extent of their technical advice or intervention.
However, even if a garage is separate from the main building, as it is a construction, a defect affecting it can be submitted to the conciliation service.

General information 
The BUYER acknowledges being informed by the BROKER of all conditions and terms of the Certification program and declares satisfaction. 

If the BUYER wishes to terminate the contract with the broker, they will still be protected by the Certification program if working with another broker from the Nous Vendons Votre Maison Agency.
 
If the BUYER decides not to purchase a property or no longer engage with an agency, the Certification program membership cannot be refunded. 

You benefit from the services upon enrollment and for a period of two years from the date of the operation. Late transactions do not result in the loss of benefits, and coverage can be extended free of charge upon request. Registration fees for the program are non-refundable. 
The BUYER acknowledges having been fully informed by the BROKER of all the terms and conditions of the Certification Program and declares himself/herself satisfied therewith.

This personal information is collected through other documents submitted or to be submitted as part of the real estate transaction. This personal information is necessary and will be used and shared with the following partners and for the following purposes:
To the ACQ residential, for membership, administration and proposal of their various products and services, including: technical support service, Renovation Quality guarantee or hidden defects conciliation program
To Certico,a partner company of the Nous vendons votre maison inc., which administers this program.
 
Administration and communication
The Certification program is administered by Certico, a partner company of the Nous Vendons Votre Maison Agency Inc. in collaboration with ACQ Residential.
